"I just saw the review on this English Toffee recipe. I make this same recipe every year at Christmas time and I love it! I don't know if the butter is suppose to separate when you pour the toffee out on the pan but it always does for me. Even though it separates out the toffee is delicious! I just top it with the chocolate and pecans as the recipe indicates and then let it cool. The butter hardens so I scrape it off the pan and just throw it out. I have a friend that makes this same recipe every year for Christmas also because her family requests it. I wonder if Willy-T tried the toffee or just threw it out."
"I used fresh green beans form our garden for this recipe. They were delicious with the bacon. When I cooked the bacon I didn't cook it real crispy. Then when the beans were cooked I put the beans and bacon in a fry pan with a little melted butter and heated them together until hot. This cooked the bacon a little more before serving. We loved them. So good with the bacon."
"This dessert was delicious. It was a little work to make up the blueberry sauce but well worth it. The recipe said to place the finished dessert in the freezer so I did but wondered why. It was good frozen but hard to eat. I don't see why it needed to be frozen. I think it would be great just refrigerated so it was easier to eat. I will try just refrigerating it the next time."
"This bread pudding was delicious with the vanilla cream sauce. I think I baked the bread pudding a little too long but with all the sauce, there was plenty to moisten the bread pudding."
"I make these bars all the time. I make them for most holidays and if I need to furnish bars for some event. The grandkids, nieces and nephews always look forward to having them."
"I am always looking for new ways to fix our minute steaks so I tried this recipe last night. I thought it was ok but my husband loved all the sauce and onions on this steak. I had to pick off the onions because I don't like them. I guess I will make this again for my husband."
"My grandkids love Rice Krispie bars so I thought I would surprise them with these heart-shaped ones. I didn't know how well they would cut out but it was pretty simple. The kids will all be here tonight so I am sure the bars won't last long. I just have to keep grandpa out of them until then."
"Excellent banana bars. I usually make cream cheese frosting for banana bars but thought I would give this frosting a try for a change. I am so glad I did. It was fantastic. The grandkids loved them. It made a big batch but they didn't last long!"
"I made this cake for a Christmas get-together we had with some friends. I needed something that wouldn't take a lot of time so I tried this cherry chip cake recipe. It was simple to make and perfect for our gathering. Most of it was gone so everyone must have liked it. I love cherry chip cake and this recipe was even better."
"I had gotten apples from my daughter so decided to make my husband some apple crisp. I tried this new recipe for a change from my normal apple crisp. We liked it almost as much as my recipe. It was great served warm with a scoop of ice cream."
"We loved this soup. We all like tacos so this soup was perfect for us. Of course, my family had to add jalapenos with their other fixings. I will definitely make again."
"This salad was so easy and so good! I made it when I had the kids and grandkids for dinner. Everyone loved it. I loved the combination of pasta and vegetables together."
"I was a little afraid these scalloped potatoes would be very good because it didn't call for any type of cheese but they turned out fantastic. If you are looking for good scalloped potatoes, give these a try."
"When I made this the pork chops were a little dry but I had browned the pork chops before putting them in the casserole so maybe I should not have done that. Otherwise we liked the dish and my grandson loved the layer of apples on the bottom. I think he had 4 helpings of the apples."
"I am glad I came across this recipe again. I haven't made it for a while. I think I will make it for the grandkids this weekend. Lately they have been digging for night crawlers to use for fishing so I think they will get a kick out of this pudding."
"I tried this recipe to see how much work it was. The bunnies were simple to make and the decorating was easy and fun to do but took a little time. I want to make them for the grandkids for our Easter brunch. I will have to make them the night before so I have time to decorate them. This time I might make my own frosting though."
"I have made a lot of homemade chicken noodle soup but had never tried a creamy one. I used this recipe to give it a try and we really liked it. It was definitely worth making again."
"I made these Santas last night and they turned out so cute. I can't wait for the grandkids to see them. They took a little time but they were fun to make."
"This apple butter recipe was really easy to make. The hardest part was peeling the apples to make the applesauce. It was nice to make in the slow cooker because you didn't feel like you had to be watching it constantly. I will definitely make apple butter with this recipe again next year."
"So delicious and easy to make. It was so nice to be able to make it the night before. We had company for the weekend and it was great to be able to just get up in the morning and pop it in the oven. By the time everyone was up it was done and ready to serve warm."
"Mouth-watering good! I left out the onions because I hate onions and they weren't missed.
These make a nice side to any meal. I served them with a grilled beef roast."
"Overall we really liked this roast but I cut back on the salt because we are supposed to watch how much salt we have. I cut the salt in half and the roast still turned out pretty good."

Comment: I found Edamame at one of our larger supermarkets and made this recipe. My kids and grandkids all loved these. They ate them all up while they were waiting for dinner to get ready.
"I also made these Swiss rolls for my niece's graduation and they were a big hit. I have made these several times and we love them. The kids like to take them apart and eat the middle out first like they do with Oreos."
"I made this for a graduation party for my niece this last weekend. Didn't know if I liked it right after I made it but after it sat overnight it was great. Everyone loved the bacon in it. I got lots of compliments."
"I made this dirt salad/dessert for my grandson's birthday party. All the kids got a kick out of it and they all loved the salad. All the adults liked it too. I have a feeling this one will be requested often."
"I made this for dessert on Sunday because I have several grandkids that love strawberries. It was really good and the kids loved it. They thought it was great to get to eat frosting and strawberries. Will definitely make again when I start getting strawberries from my garden."
"This casserole recipe was soooo good! I made it last night as a side dish to hamburgers. We all would have rather just had this casserole. It doesn't contain any meat but it doesn't need it. It was delicious just as it was. Next time I will make it as the main course."
"ChrissyMonster, you are correct, 1/2 lemon grated refers to the zest from half a lemon. I have made this recipe many times. Everyone always loves these bars."
"This scalloped potatoes and ham recipe is the perfect way to enjoy your leftover ham. We have made it several times and have loved how rich and flavorful it has been each time. I just adjust the amount of potatoes according to how much leftover ham I have. The leftovers from this recipe are also great when reheated."
"We usually buy take-n-bake pizzas but once in a while I like to try homemade recipes. This one caught my eye because we all like cheeseburgers so I thought I would try it. It was very simple and we loved it. I really did taste similar to a cheeseburger."
"I made this dumpling recipe to go with the slow cooked pork roast because my Mom used to make these together all the time and it was one of our family favorites. I was so excited when I found this recipe. This is the same way my Mom would fix the dumplings. You just have to try it with a good pork roast. It will be a new family favorite for you too!"
"Made this slow cooked pork roast this last weekend. It was so simple and the meat turned out perfect. It was so moist and flavorful. I just used a fresh ham roast that we had in the freezer. The juices made excellent gravy too. I made the dumplings and sauerkraut recipe also. It was a great combination."
"These bars were really good but I think I could have baked them another 5 minutes. They are named Gooey Bars so maybe that is how they are supposed to be. My husband enough of them so he must not have thought there was anything wrong with them!"
"I have tried this recipe and I think it simmers for 20 minutes or so to let the rice take on the flavor from the other ingredients. It turned out great for me."
"This is a basic meat loaf recipe but still one of my favorites. I love the brown sugar and ketchup topping. If you want a good meat loaf, you cannot go wrong with this recipe."
"I had a little Halloween party for my grandkids this weekend and made this as one of the treats. We had a lot of fun with it. Some of the kids would barely try it when I told them it was blood and some wouldn't try it. It was fun watching the faces they made when they took their first sip. Most of them drank it right down once they tried it because it really was tasty. I added one additional teaspoon of chocolate syrup and about 6 more of corn syrup to get it to be thicker. Also, a few more drops of coloring to make it more red. It was the perfect trick to play on little kids though. Even the older ones took a second look before drinking it."
"Wow!!! If you want something rich and delicious, try this recipe. It is wonderful. You might want to make it when serving a large group because it makes a huge batch."
"This recipe was so good! It was creamy and delicious; also, easy to make. I have tried other chicken lasagna recipes but this was by far the best one. I cooked chicken breasts to use but if you purchased a rotisserie chicken and used that this recipe would be even easier to make."
"I made this cake and tried to decorate as close as possible to the picture on the recipe. My grandkids really got a kick out of it. It was a lot of fun. I think I baked my cake a little too long because it was a little dry but tasted good. Next time I will bake it for a little less time."
"Good sandwich for a quick lunch or supper. Next time I think I will use Velveeta cheese. We like that better for grilled cheese. The Virginia deli ham gave the sandwich good flavor."
"This is a great way to enjoy your fresh tomatoes. We eat a lot of tomatoes on sandwiches and salads but this pie is a fun and different way to really enjoy them. If you like tomatoes you will love this recipe."
"Easy and tasty! We don't like a lot of seasoning added to our roasts and the Worcestershire sauce added just a little extra flavor but not overbearing."
"The last time I picked rhubarb I made these bars. They were very tasty and easy to make. I will add the recipe to my many rhubarb recipes. It getting hard to decide on which recipe to make when I get a bunch of rhubarb . . . they are all so good!"
"This scrumptious strawberry dessert is the perfect way to use my fresh berries. They are just getting started so I should be able to enjoy this Strawberry Lemon Shortcake a couple of times yet this year."
"When I saw this recipe I couldn't resist trying it. I love strawberries, blueberries, and ice cream (I used ice cream instead of frozen yogurt). This parfait was the best! This would be perfect for a 4th of July celebration because of the colors but mostly because it is delicious."
"These were a lot of work but so worth it! I made them for a baby shower brunch and my girls said they reminded them of Grandma's cinnamon rolls. That was quite a compliment."
"I was looking for a corn casserole recipe and came across this recipe for frozen corn. It caught my eye because of the "Not Precooked". I don't precook my corn before freezing so I was curious to see if it was the same recipe as mine. It is exactly like mine. Just wanted to let everyone know that it is a great recipe and we all love it. Just make sure to cook it thoroughly before serving."
"I made these this weekend and they were delicious. I love coconut so I thought they were great but the grandkids liked them too. I don't think they knew or cared what was in them. I will definitely be making these again!"
"This recipe made a huge amount. Most of my family liked it but I was just OK with it. I think it was all the ricotta cheese that I didn't like that well. Maybe I would substitute some other kind next time."
"I wasn't sure about this recipe when I selected it but I wanted to try a different fruit salad. It was great! Very tasty. My granddaughter had three helpings."
"Overall this broccoli recipe was pretty good. It was a little bit dry so next time I think I will cut back on the amount of Bisquick mix that I add to the top."
"I made this last weekend when the grandkids were here. I didn't think it looked too appetizing but the kids loved it. It didn't taste too bad but looked like mush. Maybe I crushed the Oreos to fine."
"I had friends over for coffee and had tried this recipe because I had never made a rhubarb bundt cake. Everyone thought it was great and I even used frozen rhubarb that I had from this summer. The only problem I had is that it cracked a little when I tried to take it out of the pan."
"Quick and easy to make. It was pretty good but next time I will spread the cheese and mayo a little thinner and maybe sprinkle with a little garlic salt. I will definitely try it again."
"These meatballs were good. I will make again. I used a scoop to make the meatballs rather than rolling each on into a ball. The meatballs weren't perfectly round but it was quick and easy to make them that way."
"My husband and I love BLT's, especially with fresh garden tomatoes. The multi-grain bread suggested in this recipe is a nice change from regular white bread. My husband also likes to add a couple of jalapeno peppers to his BLT."
"I had a ham bone in the freezer from Easter so I thought I better get it used. Tried this recipe and it was good but not a lot different in flavor than my own recipe. I don't always have garlic cloves and bay leaves on hand, which I don't use in my recipe so may just leave them out if I use this recipe again."
"This recipe was great. It was just the right consistency for how I like it and the cinnamon and vanilla gave it an extra hint of flavor. My grandkids even liked it and they don't normally care for homemade applesauce."
"I just saw the last review on these bars. It is a shame she didn't finish them. I have made this recipe several times and I don't even think about the texture of the cooled mixture. I just finish the recipe as instructed and they come out great."
"This salad is very good but I thought it need a little more mayonnaise. I added an extra 1/2 cup. It is also good with the addition of imitatin crab."
