Potato Chowder Recipe

Ingredients
  • 3 slices bacon
  • 5 each medium size potatoes, peeled and diced
  • 1 each medium size onion, chopped
  • 2 each medium size carrot, cut in 2 inch pieces
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon thyme, dried
  • 1 each chicken bouillon cube
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
Directions
1 - Saute bacon until crisp in skillet; then crumble into crockpot.
2 - Add olive oil to same skillet and saute onion until opaque.
3 - Add garlic and cook for 1 minute, then remove onion and garlic and put in crockpot.
4 - Add allother ingredients to the crockpot.
5 - Cover with water, then slow cook on high for 5 hours or until vegetables are tender.
