My original recipe! This brisket takes 4 to 5 hours to cook. Meat must shred apart. Use shredded brisket for meal with mashed potatoes and gravy, tacos, nachos, taco salad, BBQ sandwiches (just add BBQ sauce to meat) and Brisket Veggie Soup....see recipe. I am known for my Cooking Bag Brisket!

Add water inside cooking bag.

Twist end of bag to seal opening. Seal tightly with provided plastic tie.

CUT 4 SLITS INTO TOP OF COOKING BAG TO RELEASE STEAM.

Bake in 350 degree oven for 1 hour. Turn down temperature to 325 degrees for 3 to 4 hours.

Stick fork through plastic bag to see if meat shreds. Yes? Then, it's done.

If not, add more cooking time.

Strain liquid into bowl.

Refrigerate overnight to harden grease on top of juice.

Remove harden grease before using for gravy or soup.
