Yumm-o Shrimp Skewers Recipe

Lemon & butter marinated shrimp skewers.....easy and yumm-o!

Ingredients
  • 1/2 pound shrimp, medium-sized, deveined, peeled
  • 4 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 4 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon seasoned salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon Old Bay seasoning
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper

Marinate raw shrimp in melted butter and lemon juice mixture for an hour, coverer and in the refrigerator.

Skewer the shrimp on wooden skewers.

Place on the grill and sprinkle shrimp with seasoning salt, Old Bay and pepper. Grill for 2-3 minutes on each side.

NOTE: Be sure to soak the wooden skewers in water for about an hour prior to grilling. If not, they will burn up on the grill because they will be dry wood.

"Why doesn't a person make shrimp more often? They are so quick, easy and delicious. And the shrimp grilled are so flavorful. I used the frozen raw deveined shrimp with the shell on. I thawed under cold water and removed the shells. Perfect over pasta."
