Pink Salmon Pasta Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1/2 cup onion, chopped
  • 1/2 cup carrots chopped
  • 2 stalks celery, chopped
  • 6 cloves garlic, minced
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1/2 cup dry White Wine
  • 1 can crushed tomatoes
  • 1 can pink salmon
  • 1 box angel hair pasta (small box)
  • 1 each oregano,rosemary, thyme (1/8 teaspoon each)
  • 1/2 teaspoon Cayenne Pepper
  • 1/4 fresh basil, chopped
  • 1/4 cup Romano cheese, grated
Directions
Heat olive oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Sauté onions, carrots, celery, and garlic until tender; add white wine and allow to completely dissolve. Add tomatoes and spices; simmer 1 hour. Boil angel hair pasta according to pkg. directions; drain. Add to pasta sauce and toss. Top with cheese.
