Ingredients
7 pounds apples (16 cup sauce)
3 pounds brown sugar
1 cup cider or vinegar
2 tablespoons cinnamon
Directions
Cook apples until soft and press through a sieve or stainer to make sauce. Add remaining ingredients and put in the oven. Bake at 350° for 3 hours, stirring occasionally. Pour into jars and seal with canning lids. Makes 5 quarts.
