LECHE FLAN 2 Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 3/4 cup water
  • 1/4 teaspoon lemon extract
  • 13 egg yolks
  • 1 whole egg
  • 1 3/4 cups condensed milk
  • 2 1/2 cups fresh milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
Directions
Pour sugar, water and lemon in a pan and heat over low fire. Do not stir. Melt sugar until it turns golden brown. Pour into flan mold. Set aside. Combine egg yolks, condensed milk and fresh milk in a bowl and blend well. Add vanilla extract. Pour into prepared flan mold, and then cover with aluminum foil. Put flan mold in a steamer, turning flame to low once water boils. Cook for about 1 hour. Cool, and then chill. Run a knife around the sides of the mold to unmold before serving.
