Killer Alaskan King Crab Recipe

Grilling King Crab Legs on your GrillGrates produces the most delicious, spectacular dish with a taste of flame and steamed delicate seafood juices together. This is an easy recipe. Only an herbed melted butter is needed as a dipping sauce.

Ingredients
  • Set of 4 legs per person
  • DIPPING SAUCE:
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter per person
  • 1/2 teaspoon of salt and of pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon of finely chopped parsley
  • Serve in small dipping bowls or ramekins.
Directions
    GRILLING:
  • Place King Crab Legs (thawed or frozen) on preheated GrillGrates (8 to 10 minutes on Low-Low/Med Heat, lid down).
  • Grill crab legs with lid-down on Low-Low/Med Heat. For charcoal, grill after the red hot peak, gray coals only. Close lid.
  • Grilling Time for Frozen: approx. 12-15 minutes, turn after 6 minutes. Grilling Time for Thawed: approx. 8-10 minutes, turn after 5 minutes. You will see a trace of sizzling natural juices on your GrillGrates just before Crab is done.


Suggested Pairings:
  • Grilled slices of lemon, lime, grapefruit
  • Rice with butter and fresh chopped basil and sage, topped with toasted chopped pecans
  • Grilled carrots
  • Yellow squash
  • Grilled asparagus
