German Apple Cake 2 Recipe

Ingredients
2 eggs (beaten) (large)
2 cups flour (sifted)
2 teaspoons cinnamon
1 teaspoon soda
1/2 teaspoon Salt
1 cup vegetable oil
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 cups sugar
1/2 cup walnuts (chopped)
4 cups apples (thinly sliced)
ICING
2 packages cream cheese (small pkg)
3 tablespoons melted butter or margarine
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 1/2 cups powdered sugar
Directions
Mix all ingredients together with a spoon. Do not use electric mixer. Batter will be stiff, spread in a greased 13x9x2 pan. Bake 45-60 minutes at 350°. Serve hot with whipped cream or icing if desired. For icing, mix all ingredients together and pour over cake.
