Cheesy Chowder Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 bag California mix veggies
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 4-5 medium potatoes, cut into pieces
  • 1 can creamed corn
  • 1 can cream of celery soup (optional)
  • 1-2 cups ham, bacon or other meat (optional)
  • 1/2 block processed cheese, cubed

  • Layer in slow cooker (in this order): Water, potatoes, veggies, meat, creamed corn, and soup.
  • Cover and cook for 4 hours - do not stir.
  • Mash contents with potato masher, add cheese, and stir.
  • Cook until cheese is melted through & serve.


NOTE: If chowder is too thick, add milk. If too thin, add potato flakes. Recipe is great for left over ham from the holidays!
