Ingredients
2 1/4 cups flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
1 cup butter (2 sticks)
3/4 cup sugar
3/4 cup brown sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 large eggs
1 3/4 cups chocolate chips
1 cup chopped nuts (optional)

Directions

Combine the flour, baking powder, and salt. Set aside.
Blend the butter, sugars, and vanilla in a large bowl until creamy.
Beat in the eggs one at a time; then add the dry ingredients and mix well.
Stir in the chocolate chips and nuts.
Pour into a 10- x 15-inch greased jellyroll pan. Bake for 20-25 minutes at 375ºF until brown.
