Butterscotch Rice Krispie Bars Recipe

Ingredients
  • 6 ounces butterscotch chips
  • 1/2 cup peanut butter
  • 4 cups Rice Krispies
  • 1 tablespoon water
  • 1 1/2 cups powdered sugar
  • 6 ounces chocolate chips
  • 2 tablespoons soft margarine

  • Melt the butterscotch chips with the peanut butter.
  • Add the Rice Krispies and stir well.
  • Press half the mixture into an 8 x 8 x 2 buttered pan. Chill.
  • Combine chocolate chips, water, powdered sugar, and butter. Melt in the microwave. Stir occasionally. Make sure the ingredients are well mixed, but don't over do it.
  • Spread over the chilled mixture. Spread the remaining Rice Krispies mixture on top. Press in gently. Chill before serving.
