Ingredients
2 cups flour
1/4 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
2/3 cup margarine
2 cups brown sugar
2 teaspoons vanilla
1 cup chocolate chips
2 eggs (slightly beaten)
1/2 cup chopped nuts (optional)
Container
:9 x 13-inch baking pan
Directions

Blend dry ingredients.
Melt margarine; add brown sugar to the margarine.
Blend in eggs and vanilla; then add dry ingredients and blend well.
Pour into greased 9 x 13-inch pan. Top with chocolate chips and nuts. Bake at 350ºF for 30 minutes.
