2 cups brown sugar
1 cup margarine
1 can sweetened condensed milk
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup nuts - optional

Bring all ingredients to a rolling boil and cook for 10 minutes, stirring constantly.
Pour into a well buttered pie plate. You can add nuts to the dish before pouring in caramel mixture, if desired.
Cool and cut into bite sized pieces.
