Ingredients

1 1/3 cups water
2 tablespoons oil
3 tablespoons Honey
1 tablespoon Lemon Juice
1 1/2 teaspoons salt
3 cups bread flour or all purpose flour
1 cup barley flour
2 tspyeast

Directions

Add all ingredients to the inner pot in the order given or as recommended by the instructions for your bread machine. Set machine to bake as desired.

To turn this into a fruit loaf, when the machine beeps, add 1 1/2 tsp cinnamon, 1/3 cup raisins, 2 Tbsp sunflower seeds, 2 Tbsp flax seeds, and 1 Tbsp dried apricot, chopped, (or any combination of dried fruit and seeds).

"This bread was delicious. I found it a little sweet so next time I'll only use 2 spoons of honey instead of 3. I also did not use a bread machine. I used a kitchenaid mixer. Baked it in the oven at 400 for 30 minutes."
