Ultimate French Bread Appetizer Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 loaf French bread
  • 2 cups mozzarella cheese
  • 8 ounces cream cheese
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon onion powder
  • 1 package Onion Soup Mix
  • 1/2 cup miracle whip
  • 1 pound bacon, fried crisp and broken into pieces
  • 1/4 cup chopped green pepper
  • 1/4 cup chopped onion
  • Butter
Directions
Cut the loaf of French bread lengthwise. Butter bread lightly. Mix cream cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, onion soup mix and mayonnaise, with an electric mixer, until smooth. Spread onto the loaf of bread thick. Crumble bacon. Sprinkle bacon, mozzarella cheese, green peppers and onions on top. Bake at 300 degrees until cheese is bubbly. Slice as appetizers.
