Glazed Drummies Recipe

A mild-flavored chicken wing that can be grilled or baked in the oven. The perfect finger food for your next football party or for any gathering of friends and family. You might want to make a double batch because they will disappear in a hurry.

Ingredients
  • 1 cup ketchup
  • 1/3 cup soy sauce
  • 4 teaspoons honey
  • 3/4 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 4 pounds chicken wings (thawed)

  • Combine all the ingredients except for the chicken. Stir until well mixed.
  • Place the drummies in a sealable bag and then pour 1 cup of the marinade over them and reserve the rest for basting while cooking.
  • Seal tightly and refrigerate for at least 4 hours.
  • Drain the marinade and place the chicken drummies in a single layer in a baking sheet with sides.
  • Place in an oven preheated to 350 degrees. Bake for approximately 45 minutes, turning and basting with reserved marinade every 15 minutes.
  • To grill: place the drummies on the grill and cook over medium heat, turning and basting every 15 minutes. Grill until juices run clear.
  • Serve the wings with everyone's favorite sauces.
