Ingredients
1 onion (small)
1 clove garlic, minced
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 tablespoon sugar
2 teaspoons sweet basil leaves
1 1/2 teaspoons salt
1 can tomatoes, liquid too (16 ounce can)
1 or 2 small cans tomato sauce
Directions
Cook in oil onion and garlic, until tender. Stir in remaining ingredients. Thicken slightly with flour. Simmer 20 minutes. Serve over spaghetti or use as pizza sauce. Hamburger can be added.
