"We make this version every year for Thanksgiving. My family prefers it over the traditional green bean casserole with cream of mushroom soup and fried onions."

"I made this green bean casserole recipe the other night. It was really good. It would be a good side dish with turkey or ham. I halved the recipe because it was just me and two other friends for supper but it turned out great. I used 2 cans of beans instead of 1 1/2 cans."
