Ingredients
6 slices bacon, diced
1/2 cup finely chopped onion
2 cans cream of potato soup, undiluted
1 1/2 cups milk
3 cans clams, minced (Do not drain.) (6 1/2 ounce cans)
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1/4 teaspoon dried thyme
1/4 teaspoon pepper
parsley for garnish
Directions
Cook bacon. Drain and save 1 T. bacon drippings. Sauté onion in reserved drippings. Add rest of the ingredients, stirring well. Do not boil.
