KIELBASA CABBAGE SOUP 2 Recipe

Ingredients
  • 3 cups coleslaw mix
  • 1 pound Kielbasa or Polish sausage cut into 1/2 inch pieces
  • 2 carrots chopped (medium)
  • 2 unpeeled golden delicious apples chopped (medium)
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/2 cup chopped celery
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon caraway seeds
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 32 ounces chicken broth
Directions
In large saucepan sauté the coleslaw mix, carrots, onions, celery and caraway seeds in butter for 5 - 8 minutes or until vegetables are tender crisp. Stir in remaining ingredients. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat, simmer uncovered for 20 - 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
