Ingredients
8 pounds Long Northern Navy Beans
5 pounds Ham or Bacon, cut up fine
1/8 cup salt
4 quarts Tomato Juice
1 Onion, cut up fine (Large)
3 cups water
4 cups brown sugar
3 cups white sugar
1 bottle Ketchup (26 ounce Bottle)
1/2 teaspoon red pepper
1 teaspoon Dry Mustard
1 teaspoon cinnamon
Directions
Soak beans overnight, then cook until tender. Pour off water. Add ingredients (fry onions and meat before adding. Add grease and all). Cold pack 3 hours. Makes 15 quarts.
