Never Fail Dumplings 2 Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 3 tablespoons shortening
  • 1 egg, well beaten
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 5 tablespoons water
Directions
Mix flour, salt and shortening. Add water and egg, making a soft dough. Divide into 2 parts. Roll out into very thin sheets and let dry for 15 minutes. Cut into small pieces and drop into broth. Cook until tender.
