Nanny's Bar-B-Que Recipe

A delightful way of making an inexpensive meal that will remind you of Grandma's cooking. This was my grandmother's recipe and it is still a favorite now that I moved from PA to Bar-B-Que country in TX.

Ingredients
  • 1 pound hamburger
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon celery salt
  • 1/2 cup chopped onions
  • 1 cup ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar

  • Mix all the ingredients but the ketchup and brown sugar in a frying pan and brown the hamburger meat.
  • Separately mix the ketchup and brown sugar. You can also put more Worcestershire sauce to taste in this mix. Pour the sauce over the ground meat.
  • Serve on Hamburger buns or over rice.
