Pineapple Basil Chicken Recipe

This is so simple but great. You must locate pineapple sage plant at a garden center. I have never seen it in stores but it is a common plant, very easy to grow outside or in a window box.

Ingredients
4 chicken breast (skin on)
8 pineapple sage leaves
kosher salt
olive oil
Directions
Wash and dry chicken breasts with paper towel.
Lift skin and slip pineapple sage leave under skin, one on each end (two per breast).
Brush with olive oil and add 1/2 teaspoon of kosher salt per breast.
Grill
It’s that simple. Pineapple sage will give a pineapple flavor without the sweetness. It's wonderful.
