Easy Stuffed Peppers (without stuffing) Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 pound hamburger
  • 6 green or red peppers, chopped (large pieces are ok)
  • 2 tablespoons chopped onion
  • 1/8 teaspoon garlic salt
  • 1 cup cooked rice
  • 1 can tomato sauce (15 ounce)
  • 4 slices Velveeta cheese
Directions
Brown hamburg in large skillet. Add peppers and onion and continue cooking until tender. Drain fat. Meanwhile, prepare rice (I use instant brown rice). Add garlic salt, tomato sauce, and rice to skillet. Heat through. If desired, place Velveeta slices over mixture, cover and heat additional 1-2 min.
