Ingredients
  • 2 cups flour
  • 2 tablespoons baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/3 cup oil
  • 2 cups milk, warm
  • SYRUP:
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1/2 cup cream or evaporated milk
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla

For pancakes, sift together dry ingredients. Add eggs, oil and warm milk. Beat until smooth and fry on hot griddle. Serve with pancake syrup.

For syrup, mix syrup ingredients and boil 1 minute. Serve warm.
