Barbequed Ribs Recipe

Ingredients
  • RIBS:
  • 2 or 3 full racks of pork ribs
  • SAUCE:
  • 6 tablespoons minced onion
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 1 cup ketchup
  • 3 tablespoons vinegar
  • 3 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons prepared mustard
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire Sauce
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
Container:Shallow roasting pan or large baking sheet.

RIBS:
  • Peel off the thin layer of tissue on the underside of the ribs if it is there.
  • Place in shallow pan with meat side up. Cover lightly with nonstick foil.
  • Bake for an hour and a half at 300 degrees F.
  • Baste with sauce, cover lightly with foil again, and bake another hour to hour and a half until very tender.
  • Place on grill over medium heat. Baste with the sauce. Grill for approximately 15 to 20 minutes.
SAUCE:
  • Combine ingredients in a small saucepan.
  • Simmer covered at least 1 hour.

    "Easy rib recipe. We are having my dad and mom over for Father's day and I think I will make them again because dad loves ribs. Only gave it 4 stars because I would change the sauce a little. A little less vinegar and a little more brown sugar."
