Antipasto Squares 3 Recipe

Ingredients
  • 2 packages crescent rolls
  • 1 each ham, cooked salami, provolone, sliced thin (1/3 to 1/2 1/3 lb each)
  • 1 jar roasted red peppers, drained, patted dry and cut inch strips (optional)
  • 5 eggs, beaten
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese
  • TOPPING:
  • 1 egg. beaten
Directions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees

Roll out one package of rolls into bottom of 9x13 baking dish.

Beat eggs and Parmesan cheese together.

Layer 1/2 of the ham, salami, (peppers) and provolone on top. Pour 1/2 of egg-Parmesan mixture over this layer. Repeat.

Roll out 2nd package of crescent rolls over top. It's OK if perforated holes are not pressed together. Brush with beaten egg.

Bake covered with tin foil for 30 minutes. Bake uncovered another 25-30 minutes.

Let set for at least 20 minutes before cutting into squares.

Can be served hot or at room temperature. You can use any combination of meats and cheese or vegetables that you would like. For example, you could use turkey, ham, Swiss and cooked asparagus or broccoli.

**NOTE: If I were making this the night before, I would probably wait to cut it into squares until I was ready to serve it. You could bring the dish to room temperature or pop it into the oven to reheat it.
