Ingredients
1 pound raisins (seeded)
1 pound dates
1 pound pecans
1 teaspoon all of the above with scissors)
6 eggs
2 cups sugar
4 cups flour, all-purpose
1 teaspoon baking powder, add to flour
1/2 teaspoon baking soda in
1/2 teaspoon warm water
1 3/4 cups shortening
1 cup bourbon
Directions
Mix ingredients together and pour into bunt pan. Bake 3 hours at 250 degrees. Wrap in cheese cloth and store in cool place. Pour bourbon over cheese cloth every two or three days for about two weeks.
