Basic Shortcrust Pastry (Pie Dough) Recipe

Ingredients
1 1/2 cups all purpose flour
Pinch salt
3 tablespoons margarine
3 tablespoons Shortening
2 tablespoons water
Directions
Sift the flour and salt into a bowl. Rub in the margarine and shortening until the mixture resembles fine breadcrumbs. Add the water and mix to a firm dough. Knead on a lightly floured surface until smooth. Roll out the pastry dough and fit to a pie pan.
