Pecan Tarts 16 Recipe

Ingredients
  • CRUST
  • 1 package cream cheese (3 ounce pkg)
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 cup flour
  • Filling
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • dash salt
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 2/3 cup chopped nuts
Directions
Crust: Mix and roll into 24 balls 1 inch in diameter the cream cheese, butter and flour. Press into tart tins.

Filling: Mix egg, brown sugar, butter, vanilla, salt and pecans. Put into the crusts, then put a pecan half on top. Bake at 325 degrees for 25 5o 30 minutes. Makes 2 dozen.
