Ham Steak with Peach Picante Sauce Recipe

Ingredients
  • 4 Cook's® Bone-in Ham Steak (about 1 pound each)
  • 6 fresh peaches, pealed, chopped (about 4 cups)
  • dash of ground black pepper
  • dash of salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon five-spice powder
  • 1 serrano chile, finely chopped (about 1-1/4 teaspoons)
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh cilantro
  • 2 tablespoons peach-flavored liqueur (about 1 ounce)
  • Juice from 1 medium lime (about 3 tablespoons)
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped red onion
Directions
  • Combine peaches, onions, lime juice, liqueur, cilantro, chiles, five-spice powder, salt and pepper in medium bowl. Cover.
  • Refrigerate at least 1 hour to allow flavors to blend.
  • Cook ham according to package directions. Serve with the picante sauce.
