Slow Cooker Dessert: Minister's Delight Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 can cherry OR apple pie filling (21 ounce can)
  • 1 package yellow cake mix, regular size
  • 1/2 cup butter or margarine, melted
  • 1/3 cup chopped walnuts, optional
Directions
Place pie filling in a slow cooker. Combine dry cake mix and butter (mixture will be crumbly); sprinkle over filling. If desired, sprinkle with walnuts. Cover and cook on low for 2-3 hours. Serve in bowls with vanilla ice cream, optional.
