Crispy Coated Pork Chops Recipe

The crunchy outside of these pork chops is seasoned perfectly. Don't overcook so the inside stays moist and tender. Serve with mashed potatoes and a green vegetable for a meal fit to entertain with.

1 cup buttery crackers, crushed
1 teaspoon garlic salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
2 eggs - beaten
4 pork chops
1/4 cup butter

Preheat oven to 375° F.
In a shallow bowl, beat eggs.
In a separate shallow bowl, combine crushed crackers, garlic salt and pepper; mix well.
Dip each pork chop in the egg and then in the cracker mixture. Place the pork chops in a casserole dish. Place chunks of the butter on top of each pork chop.
Cover and bake for 40 minutes, turning halfway through. Uncover and bake for 5 more minutes so the coating gets crunchy.
