Ingredients
6 boneless chicken breasts
1/2 pound Italian sausage
2 tablespoons celery - chopped
2 tablespoons onion - chopped
1 egg
1/2 small package stuffing mix
salt and pepper to taste
3 tablespoons melted butter
dry bread crumbs
1/4 cup oil
1/4 cup wine
4 ounces mushrooms
Directions
Saute sausage, celery, and onion.
Reduce heat and mix in stuffing mix and egg.
Place mixture into chicken breasts, secure with toothpicks.
Brush with melted butter and roll in breadcrumbs.
Place in baking dish with 1/4 cup oil and 1/4 cup wine.
Bake at 350 degrees F. for 30 minutes.
Add mushrooms and cook another 15
minutes.
Transfer to serving platter.
Pour liquid and mushrooms over chicken.
