1 cup celery, chopped
1 onion, chopped
6 carrots, sliced
4 medium potatoes, cubed
2 tablespoons tapioca
1 tablespoon sugar
1 1/2 teaspoons salt
1 1/2 cups tomato juice

Cover and bake 5 hours in 250 degree oven.
