Ingredients
1 cup Sugar
1 cup Brown Sugar
1 cup butter, softened
1/2 cup buttermilk
2 Eggs
1 teaspoon root beer extract
1 teaspoon vanilla
4 cups flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon Salt
Frosting
1 cup powdered sugar
1 tablespoon half and half
2 teaspoons butter
1 teaspoon root beer extract
Directions
Combine sugars, butter, buttermilk, eggs, root beer extract and vanilla. Mix. Add flour, baking soda, and salt. Beat at low speed until soft dough forms. Drop by heaping teaspoons onto cookie sheet. Bake at 375° for 10-12 minutes. Let cool. Meanwhile, mix all frosting ingredients together. Frost when cool.
