Easy Oatmeal Apple Crisp Recipe

  • 1 cup butter, softened
  • 1 1/2 cups brown sugar
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 1/2 cups oatmeal
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon

  • Preheat the oven to 350ºF.
  • Peel and slice the apples, and place in an 8x11-inch baking pan.
  • Mix the other ingredients until crumbly; then sprinkle this mixture on top of the apples.
  • Bake for 45-50 minutes or until the apples are tender and topping is golden brown.

"I LOVED the topping. My only complaint was that the apples didn't get syrupy. Next time I would add a little flour and sugar and maybe even cinnamon with the apples, then top with the topping just the way the topping is."
