Ingredients
  • 1 cup white corn syrup
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 stick butter
  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 6 cups Special K cereal
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • 1 cup butterscotch chips

  • In a saucepan on the stovetop, cook the syrup, sugar, butter, and peanut butter on low heat until slightly boiling. Stir frequently.
  • Add the mixture to the cereal and mix well; then press into a 9x13-inch pan.
  • Melt the chocolate and butterscotch chips (on the stovetop or in the microwave) and spread over the top of the bars.
  • Cool and cut into squares.
