Maple Frosting Recipe

Ingredients
  • 5 tablespoons flour
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1/2 cup shortening
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons maple flavoring

  • Blend flour and milk until smooth.
  • In a separate bowl, combine butter, shortening, brown sugar and maple and beat for a full 5 minutes.
  • Add flour and milk mixture and beat for an additional 5 minutes.
