Ingredients
1 cup flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/3 cup butter - cold, plus 1 tablespoon
5 tablespoons water - cold

Measure flour and salt into bowl.
Cut in butter thoroughly.
Sprinkle in water 1 tablespoon at a time, mixing until all flour is moistened and dough almost cleans side of bowl. (1 - 2 TBS water may be added if needed).
On floured board, roll out dough 2" larger than pie pan.
For 1 crust pie, bake at 475° F for 8-10 minutes.
For 2 crust pie, bake at 425° for 25-30 minutes.
TIP - Put the ingredients in a large tupperware container. After the butter has been cut into the flour mixture, add water 1 TBS at a time and shake thoroughly. The dough will eventually mold together and form into a ball. This cuts back on how much the dough is handled.
TIP - For a 2 crust pie, dot with butter before you put the top crust on. Once the top crust is on, cut slits in the dough and brush the top with milk.
Then sprinkle 1 tablespoon cinnamon and sugar on top before baking.
