French Silk Pie Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 pie crust - 8 inch, baked
  • 2 unsweetened chocolate baking squares - more if you want even more chocolate flavor
  • 1/2 cup butter - softened, cut into 8 pats
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 16 ounces non-dairy whipped topping
  • Hershey candy bar - made into curls

  • Bake pie crust according to directions and let cool.
  • In medium sized bowl blend: melted chocolate, butter, vanilla, sugar.
  • Beat at medium speed until blended.
  • Add eggs beating each egg for 5 minutes. (don't cheat on this step or it will not set properly).
  • Fold in 8 oz of whipped topping.
  • Let set 4-6 hours.
  • Add top layer, 8 oz whipped topping and chocolate curls.
