Ingredients
  • 1 cup light corn syrup
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 1/2 cups peanut butter
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla
  • 6 cups Rice Krispies or Special K
  • 1 package butterscotch chips (12 ounce pkg)
  • 1 package semi-sweet chocolate chips (12 ounce pkg)

Heat corn syrup, sugar and salt just to a gentle boil.

Remove from heat. Add peanut butter and vanilla. Mix until well blended.

Add Rice Krispies and stir to coat completely.

Press into a greased jelly roll pan and cool.

Melt together the butterscotch and chocolate chips over low heat or in the microwave. Spread on bars and allow top layer to set up before slicing.
