3 pounds pork loin back ribs
3 tablespoons dried minced onion flakes
1 tablespoon dried parsley flakes
1 1/2 tablespoons ground mustard
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon ground allspice
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon ground Cayenne pepper
3/4 cup water
1 1/2 cups barbecue sauce (your favorite brand)

Coat the inside the slow cooker with olive oil (or your favorite cooking oil).
In a small bowl, mix the dried minced onion, parsley flakes, mustard, garlic powder, allspice, cinnamon, and Cayenne pepper.
Rub the spice mixture onto the ribs.
Layer the ribs inside the crock pot.
Pour the water over the ribs.
Cover the slow cooker and cook the ribs on the low heat setting for 8 hours.
Remove the ribs from the slow cooker; then drain and discard the liquid from the pot.
Pour the barbecue sauce into a bowl and dip the ribs into the sauce.
Return the ribs to the slow cooker and pour any remaining barbecue sauce into the crock pot.
Cover the slow cooker and cook on the low heat setting for 1 to 1½ hours.
