Meaty Mac 'N Cheese Recipe

I have prepared this meal for years...it is one of my kid's favorites and now, my grandkids! Serves 8 to 10 people! Serve with Green Salad and Rolls with butter.

Ingredients
  • 2 pounds Lean Ground Beef or Turkey
  • 5 each Sticks of Celery - diced
  • 8 each Beef Bouillon Cubes - dissolved in 3 cups hot water
  • 1 each Large Can Diced Tomatoes with juice
  • 4 each Boxes of Mac 'N Cheese - prepared according to package directions
  • Salt, Pepper, Celery Salt, Onion Salt to taste

Prepare Mac 'N Cheese in large stock pot according to package directions. Set aside.

Brown Ground Beef or Turkey with Celery and seasonings. Drain grease.

Add tomatoes. Cover and bring to boil for 2 minutes.

Microwave Bouillon Cubes with water until dissolved.

Add Bouillon Cube mixture to Ground Beef mixture. Mix well.

Simmer, covered, 5 minutes.

Combine Mac'N Cheese and Ground Beef mixtures in the large stock pot. Mix well.

Serve hot.
