Ingredients
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 6 pork chops
  • 3 baking potatoes - unpeeled, sliced into 1/4 slices
  • 1 onion - sliced into thin rings
  • 1/2 cabbage head - green, shredded
  • 1 apple - green, peeled, quartered, sliced
  • 1 can Bavarian sauerkraut, drained
  • 1 can cream of celery soup (10 3/4 oz)

  • Heat cooking oil and brown chops.
  • In a large slow cooker, layer sliced potatoes then onion, pour soup over and spread out.
  • Layer cabbage, sliced apple, pork chops and sauerkraut on top.
  • Salt and pepper to taste.
  • Cook on low for 8 hours or high for 4-5 hours.
