Simple Corn Bread Recipe

A quick corn bread that is baked up in 20 minutes. The melted butter keeps it moist and the corn meal sweetens it right up. Enjoy!

Ingredients
  • 1 cup corn meal
  • 1 cup flour
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 4 teaspoons baking powder
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 7 tablespoons butter, melted
Directions
Sift cornmeal, flour, sugar, salt, and baking powder together into large mixing bowl.

Mix eggs and milk into dry mixture, beat well.

Stir in melted butter.

Pour ingredients into a greased 7x11" pan. Bake at 425° for 20 minutes.
