Whole Wheat Bran Muffins Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1/2 cup whole wheat flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 2 cups bran flakes, crushed
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 low-cal margarine
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons sugar substitute
  • 6 tablespoons raisins
  • 1 cup low-fat butter milk
Directions
Sift flour and soda together in bowl and add crushed bran flakes. Combine butter milk, egg, margarine and sugar substitute. Add milk mixture to dry ingredients and stir only enough to mix ingredients. Add raisins. Spoon2 1/2 T in each muffin cup. Bake at 400 for 18 to 20 minutes.
