Autumn Morning Muffins Recipe

Ingredients
  • 2/3 cup shortening
  • 3 cups sugar
  • 4 eggs, well-beaten
  • 1 can pumkin (15 ounce can)
  • 2/3 cup water
  • 3 1/2 cups flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1/2 teaspoon cloves
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 2 teaspoons Baking Soda
Directions
Combine all ingredients and mix on med. speed for two mins. Pour into lightly greased muffin pan and sprinkle sugar over tops. Bake at 350° for 30 mins. or until done. Let cool for 10 mins. before removing from pan.
